This kit is great and solved my problem with the freezer not working in cold Illinois winters in my cold garage. You can buy heaters all over the internet but this kit includes all the “extras” you need like in-line wire connectors, piggy back wire connectors, and a bypass switch. The online instruction video is great-watch it carefully! This kit is well thought out and complete. You only need your own drill bit and a screwdriver. Check it out! It’s well worth the price! I’ll be back to Ben’s for any future appliance parts or advice. A great find!
Good job Ben's for putting all of these components in one place! Install was straightforward. If you are doing this be very careful when removing the cooling panel thingy- it is fragile and I broke the Styrofoam when removing. I used the heat tape they provided to fix!!!
Thanks, Ben! I followed your most excellent & thorough instructions on YouTube and replaced the controller board in my washer. I’m guessing it saved me $300-$500 and I even had a little fun doing it.

I think if whirlpool wanted to be honest the washing machine would be 100% fixed, however they knew there were problems and made the repairs almost impossible. My son and I sweated but got a new hub and bushing but down to putting machine back together was made monstrous. Don’t get whirlpool but thanks for the help and parts you were the best.
Been without ice maker for over a year, was frozen solid. Ice maker internal circuit board was damaged from frost. This repair kit was helpful prior to new ice maker install. Sealed up the housing together with with an additional recommended heater. So far frost free! Family and me are very happy, thank you.
Was having issues with my washer throwing off balance code. Came upon the YouTube video and order the parts and that fixed my washer. No longer receiving the codes and works great and easy install with the help from the video.

Though when I went to rebuild the rods I was clear they were still working fine, I went ahead and rebuilt them any way. Very nice kit and easy to do. Be aware that this grease is very sticky and very hard to get off of what ever it gets on so wear gloves and be clean with the spreading. But the rods definitely move smoother with more resistance than the original. If you have bad rods this will get things right.
A bit of a tight fit but I would rather that then a slightly loose one. Combined with the all metal hub the washer works better then when we bought it. Made a little wear in noise the first couple loads but after that run nice and tight. So don’t get worried if it sounds weird at first. Highly recommend.
This was easy to install and what a difference!!!! Washer works better then the day we bought it and definitely better then the two times whirlpool repaired it. What a great kit.

came with wverything i needed to repair the washing machine struts. only items you might need are gloves. this stuff is sticky
