Description
This is the main control board for GE front load washing machines. The main board includes an integrated water pressure switch, and is not available separately as per GE.
WH22X36637 has been revised to WH22X37840
WH22X37840 replaces WH22X29532, WH22X30898, WH22X32057, WH22X32457, WH22X34659, WH22X35517, WH22X36637
Note that this board ONLY works for specific GE models, and may need programmed.
It is critical you verify the drain pump is in good working order! A failed drain pump will damage new control boards if not verified to be working!
The board fits the following models:
- GFW650S
- GFW850S
- PFW870S
- PFW950S
If your model has a different number, you will need to order the proper control board for it.

GE Washing Machine Main Control Board
After some initial concern because the boards did not look identical I did some research and they have changed to configuration slightly. Installed, programmed and tested perfectly. The door indication failure was not fixed with the door lock, following trouble shooting the board was the problem. Thanks
Ordered what I needed quickly using the YouTube Links, that was worth it alone. I then had a question and they answered the phone! Took care of me right away, best experience I have had, I’m using them for everything in the future for sure.
My GE model GFW850SPN2RS stopped draining water. I initially thought it was the drain pump and changed that out, but it did not fix the issue. After more research, I found that most of the time you also have to change the control board. This control board looked like it had slight variations, but it worked perfectly. Turns out there was a circuit that blew on the original board. It was not difficult to do on my own. Saved myself about $700.

Perfect OEM replacement with timely shipping
Happy with part but delivery took a little to long
Bens appliance had what I needed at a good price and they shipped it fast. I know I will be buying future appliances parts from them.
Replaced the door lock sensor and this did not fix the problem.
Replaced the main circuit board and now the sensor works.
Unfortunately, the laundry detergent dispenser is not working.
I guess there are sub versions of this PCB which do not have this feature.
Every thing else is working.

Our GE washer has been great, never any problems and kept up with our big family of 5 people and 5 pets then all of a sudden the water stopped draining, pulled out the drain pump and could tell it was burnt out due to brown all around where the wire harness plugged in. Thanks to your awesome videos we were able to get the pump and control board out and seen that both needed to be replaced. Now our washer is back tackling our daily washing needs! We really had no way of knowing if this was the problem, but after doing an Internet search, discovered that our washing machine is known as a “control board eater” – ordered one, installed it, took us about 15 minutes and everything is back in working order now.

My GE frontload washer stopped draining. After researching videos on how to fix it on YouTube I came across a video that suggested me replacing the drain pump and main control board. I got the board and pump from Ben's appliance and installed them. Washer started working again like it should.
Based on diagnostic procedure on Ben's YouTube channel. I replaced Main Control Board on my GE front load washer. Correct part arrived fast, with proper programming instructions. Install went smooth and machine back up and running as it should. Thanks
