Description

This is the mode shifter / shift actuator assembly for many styles of GE washing machines. If your unit fails to shift into or away from spin mode, its possible the motor has burnt out in your shifter, and needs replaced.

Note that this version from Choice Parts features a 4w motor which is more powerful than the OEM GE unit, so the ohm value will vary from factory settings, but is otherwise a fantastic brand for your GE washing machine.

Great Source for Quality Parts

Saw a video on YouTube that detailed how to fix my washer. Video linked Ben's Appliances. Ordered parts, they worked, now my washer isn't broken anymore. I will return the next time I have a broken appliance.

The wire end was wrong mine is flat and the new one is square so was no good to me

This part fixed our GE washer!

Well, my husband was able to diagnose the new problem with our good old GE Profile washer, get the parts from Ben, and patch the old girl up so she can wash/rinse/spin another day! Yay! Not sure how old this washer is, but I do not want a new washer. The reviews are all horrid and the quality is equally horrid. Thanks, Ben, for having the right parts!
