If your Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, or Kenmore-brand top load washing machine is shaking violently and nothing else will fix it, our shim kit is engineered to help solve this problem.

Our shims are constructed of high-quality, water-resistant 316 stainless steel. They are designed to tightly fit over the gearcase and splines, while accounting for the variable wear patterns experienced by your unique gearcase and tub situation.

The kit comes with 3 rings of identical height and width and internal diameter. However, each ring has a different wall thickness to account for potential variances in your tub's wear pattern.

Ring colors and wall thickness:

Black = 1mm

Green = 0.75mm

Blue = 0.50mm

Not happy

The washer worked for 3 days but then a there was agrinding noise from the gear. When we checked the part was moving freely around and metal powder was all around the drum. We had to put back the plastic part again.

Gearcase shim kit

The geascase shim kit appears to be a great item, at a great price, with prompt shipping. This should solve a lot of problems with worn out hubs on washer baskets.

part good problems still exists.

The parts are made strong and durable. Unfortunately, my violently shaking washing machine wasn't fixed.

I wish you had a video just dedicated to using the shims with selecting the size and possibly installing one on the bottom

Fantastic improvement

Outstanding went through several of these parts due to poor parts from Maytag this was a big help to not having to purchase a new washer
