What's included with this element?

The heating element itself. The heating sensors and a roller maintenance kit are add-on options and are included only when selected at checkout.

The new element stopped heating or my dryer overheats. What should I check?

Clear the vent line and lint, test the thermal fuse and thermostats for continuity, and confirm the dryer gets full 240V at the outlet. Restricted airflow can trip the high limit.

Is this the whole heater housing or just the element?

Just the element. The complete element housing (canister) with sensors is a separate part, DC93-00154A.

How should I wire this 3-wire element?

Match your original element's layout, including which coil is thick or thin. The common (double) terminal typically goes to the white wire and the single to red - check your wiring diagram.

My old element has two connections but this one has three. Is it the right part?

No - this is a 3-wire element. If your old element has only two connections, your dryer likely needs a different element, such as DC47-00019A. Contact us with your model number.

Will this fit a DV45K6500EV?

Description

This is the newer revised version of the Samsung Dryer Heating Element that uses a 3-wire setup versus the standard 2-wire that is extremely common in Samsung dryers. 

If you are unsure if this is the style of heating element you need for your Samsung Dryer, don't hesitate to contact us. 

Remember that if your Samsung dryer won't heat, there are other components, sensors, involved in the entire system that allows your dryer to heat. They are the Thermal Cut-Off (aka Thermal Fuse), Thermostat, and Thermistor. We do sell these as a bundle for an additional fee to fully rebuild your heating system.

Additionally, most technicians suggest installing a new idler pulley, belt, and roller wheels when the machine is fully disassembled to essentially rebuild all internal components.

Everything "fit" correctly

Everything fit, but would throw a over heat alarm, even on the lowest setting.

I reached out for support. They responded once and never responded again.

Maybe this will work better for you.... But did not work correctly on my dv42h5200ef Samsung dryer.

Defective Parts from Factory

Received the parts quickly and packaged well. 1 of the sensors shipped was manufactured faulty (manufacturer failed to punch a hole in the mounting bracket and the sensor was smashed together when riveted in place on the bracket). Ben's Appliance has yet to respond to my request for a replacement or refund for the part.
