Description

This is the replacement pressure sensor for washing machine control boards from many makes and models of units from 2009-current.

This is the primary water level sensor for Whirlpool / Maytag / Amana control systems from the Pima Alto label, used in Vertical Modular Washing Machines.

3 of the 8 pins are used to provide voltage in, ground, and voltage out to the control board. The pins need properly oriented to the control board to work properly after desoldering the old sensor. 

Specs: PIEZORESISTIVE SENSOR, GAGE, 0.87PSI MAX, 2.5%, 0.5-4.5V, SQUARE, THROUGH HOLE MOUNT

Fixed whirlpool washer infinite drain!

My washer started doing the dreaded “infinite drain” after not even a year of light use. I found Ben’s amazing videos and decided I would go the route of attempting to replace the sensor first before shelling out hundreds back to whirlpool for a replacement board. The part arrived quickly, and was an exact replacement for the sensor on the board. I found someone local to do the soldering, and the washer works good as new now, no infinite drain! If any of my other appliances start acting up, I’m going to look to Ben’s videos first before scheduling a service call!

They are resolving the drain pump issues. Highly recommended for technicians as these washers are being given away or cheap.
