Which rods go in the front and which go in the rear?

White-topped rods go in the rear and pink-topped rods go in the front. They aren't marked left or right, so just place them by color.

Is this an OEM part?

No - these are brand-new aftermarket rods made to OEM specs for length and spring tension, not genuine Samsung parts.

Is this the same as other DC97-16350 rods, like the C, U, V or Y?

No - each DC97-16350 letter is a different rod. This set is only the S and T rods, so match the letters your washer uses before ordering.

What comes in the set?

Four rods: two DC97-16350S and two DC97-16350T, sold together as a matched set.

How long are the rods?

The rods are 27 inches long. A removed rod can measure differently depending on where you measure, so choose by your washer's model number, not length alone.

Can I buy just two rods or mix new rods with my old ones?

No - this set is sold as all four rods. They work as a balanced system, and mixing old and new rods can cause ongoing vibration or imbalance.

Do I need to add grease to these rods?

No - no special grease is needed to install them. Adding Bounce-B-Gone damping grease can further reduce vibration and noise.

How long do these rods last?

Lifespan is comparable to OEM rods when they're installed correctly and used normally; load size and the washer's overall condition affect it.

This is a matched set of Samsung DC97-16350S and DC97-16350T rods. Each set sold contains (2) DC97-16350S and (2) DC97-16350T rods.

Certain kinds of Samsung rods require two of each, and this set supplies both in the proper number.

White topped rods go on the rear.

Pink topped rods go on the front.

Rods are 27" long and fit the largest Samsung washing machines on the market. 

These are aftermarket replacement rods (not OEM).

Affordable option- Definitely Recommend!

These DC97-16350 S/T Samsung Suspension Rods worked well to fix the unbalance code and banging during the spin cycle issue in my Samsung Washer WA45T3400AW/A4. Parts didn't come with install directions, but a had googled and watched a couple of youtubes for it and seen they were super easy to install (It really was super easy, taking the top screws out to lift the top part of the washer to get to them was the hardest part lol.. They are a bit sticky so I recommend gloves :-) ) and then ran a recalibration cycle per my instructions on the Washers manual and have had no issues since install. Saved me a ton of money.

I have been very pleased with this product so far and it is exactly what I needed. I strongly Ben's Appliances and their customer service was excellent. I was unsure which suspension set went front and what went rear and they responded within 12 hours via email (pink front and white rear for me). USPS also delayed the delivery of my items when I paid for expedited shipping but Ben's promptly refunded me that shipping expense.

Strongly recommend and will use again.
