A Recommended Addition to the Samsung Heater Kit

One of the more pertinent items that technicians will replace when installing the drain kit and secondary heater kit is a new defrost sensor, as replacing it takes approximately 1 minute with the evaporator cover panel off.

If the existing defrost sensor is off-specification, it could reduce the defrost time of the refrigerator, causing some of the icing conditions that the Samsung refrigerator is notorious for.

Always confirm that this piece is compatible with your refrigerator prior to purchase. However, this specific sensor is compatible with almost all Samsung French-door refrigerators and side-by-side units.

Can also be used to replace the DA32-10104N if they're out of stock.

I am so thankful that you guys came up with this kit. I had tried the 1 piece fix for the drain flooding and freezing a few years back. Of course the problem came back and I'm so glad ya'll could help me replace more parts to get a better fix. I do still have a small amount of water in the main fridge compartment, but I feel it is greatly reduced. I can tolerate that. Also, I really appreciated the new drain pipe fittings. Yes mine were in terrible shape and probably part of the problem. I am a 66 year old female DIYer and I love finding the videos and parts I need for my projects. Thank you so very much for everything. You saved me the cost of a new refrigerator.

Part was great. Didn’t fix our problem.

I already did a review, but I’ll do another one. We really like Ben’s YouTube videos they’re very thorough but our fridge is just a bad model and we went on a trip came home and the fridge was warm again for the third time so we’re buying a new one. We learned a lot from him though.
