The W10528947 connects your wash plate to the central gearcase on your Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, Amana or Crosley washer. If your agitator or hub move freely, causing the unit to not spin or agitate properly, this is the part you'll need to replace.

The W10528947 is near-universal for Whirlpool VMW-style washers. Note that the unit is also compatible with W10396887 as well.
