Watched quite a few videos of Ben's that made me confident I had narrowed down the problem with my GE washer and could successfully replace the assumed defective part. While there is always some doubt when doing a self-repair on a system you're not professionally knowledgeable on I decided the restocking fee and the extra week of downtime on my washer would be worth the risk over spending (easily) x5 the part cost on a technician to diagnose and repair the issue. Ordered part shipped and arrived within a reasonable time, especially considering it was a holiday weekend (not Amazon fast but that's not even remotely a fair comparison in my opinion). Once the part arrived; I replaced the part, programmed it to my specific model, and within the hour had a fully functional washer again! I couldn't be happier with my purchase and end result but the real star of the show here is the freely available repair tutorials and technician documentation that makes them worth purchasing as a non-appliance technician. Thank you Ben and company for empowering us to repair our own appliances, reducing waste and helping the pros focus on the big issues!
