Description
If you own a GE dryer that is not heating properly, its possible that the heating element has gone bad. The unit is sold as a 1-piece assembly with both the heater plate and element together and is replaced with 4 screws.
Often, the heating wire is damaged/burnt, causing the connector on the heater to degrade, consistently damaging newly-installed heating wires. By replacing the heater wire will solve the issue, and we suggest purchasing the WE49X37037 heating wire in tandem with this heater.
