This is the Whirlpool slider assembly kit for "Direct Drive" stator-driven washing machines. This item slides the assembly allowing the machine to spin and can wear down, causing many issues. 

Please ensure your unit has a rotor/stator system underneath before purchasing. 

Consider purchasing the clutch assembly in addition to this item. Please note you will need to re-calibrate your machine after installing this part.

Clutch and Slider for Maytag Washer MODEL MVWB865GW0

Thanks to Ben's video I was able to install these parts in less than one hour. After the repair I cleared the F7E5 error code and ran a washer calibration cycle as per the service manual. Then four loads of clothes were put through the washer and there were no error codes afterward.

Great Product, Perfect Fit

I purchased this item along with the clutch assembly to fix my Whirlpool washer. Followed the video and the slider assembly worked like a charm! Fits perfectly and fixed my washer issue. I didn't need to replace the clutch assembly at all. My suggestion for anyone trying to put the ring back on is to slightly spread open the ring to make it easier to put back on. Great product at a great price!
