Description

If your Samsung Icemaker is no longer operating properly, replacing the icemaker may solve your problems. We now stock both the "Short" (13718C) and "Long" (15217D) ice maker for most Samsung ice makers made from 2013 through 2021. 

These icemakers are a common part of the ice maker not working failure, and are also prone to warping or damage when the ice making cabinet is overheated by a hair dryer or other extremely hot warming device that isn't the defroster.

Note that the DA97-15217 unit is longer, and features 10 ice cubes for full-depth Samsung refrigerators, and the DA97-13718C is for the shorter, counter-depth 8-cube model of ice maker. If you have any confusion or questions about what is right for you, send us an E-mail.

Worked great!

I was looking for videos on how to fix my Samsung and ran across Ben's appliances on YouTube. Not only were their videos very instructive, but they also had the parts at or below what I could find elsewhere. I fixed two problems simultaneously, and now our Samsung is like new. FYI, if your upper ice maker is freezing up, they have kits to replace everything with a better heater system and a way to moisture-proof that compartment. It's been over a month, and we no longer have any ice buildup, so the new icemaker can run without jamming up with Ice.

Absolutely correct. Don’t use hairdryer! I pulled my old icemaker out and it was completely distorted. Bens new components fixed everything.

Samsung Fridge Parts - Well Part they shorted my order

I ordered an ice machine and drain line upgrade for the always issue filled Samsung fridge. I got the ice machine and that was it. Did not get the upgraded drain line kit. I emailed asked about it and I have not seen a response. So I am out $30. The fridge got zapped with a power short to the house shortly after I put in the ice machine so even if they were to send it i have no use for it anymore. Given they missed part of my order and have not replied to my email cant do more than 1 star. The ice machine worked fine.
