Do I need to buy this separately if I'm getting the Samsung heater repair kit?
No - the Samsung Heater Repair Kit already includes DC32-00007A, along with the DC47-00019A element, thermal fuse, high-limit thermostat and thermal cut-off.
I found a loose DC32-00007A in my repair kit. What is it?
It's the Samsung dryer thermistor, a temperature sensor that helps the control board regulate heat. It's included in the heater repair kit so you can replace it during the repair.
My dryer stopped heating again soon after the repair. Why?
Check that the exhaust vent isn't clogged - restricted airflow can make heating parts fail early. Clean the lint screen every load and test the fuses too.
Only my thermistor tests bad. Do I need a new heating element too?
No - if the element still has continuity, you can replace just the thermistor first. An element with no continuity is bad too, and the heater kit covers both parts.
