DA32-00006W Samsung Defrost Sensor

Just installed yesterday, Along with the secondary heater kit. Seems to be working well. Instructions could be a bit clearer about where to mount the defrost sensor. Instead of a blue circle on a picture maybe show where to actually mount the defrost sensor and the orientation.

I found Ben on YouTube and am so impressed at the comprehensiveness of his instruction and the quality of the kit. I would not have had enough confidence to fix my fridge myself otherwise, and would have paid many times the cost of repair to have someone else do it. Value and convenience are nothing short of tremendous.

Our fridge was a solid brick of ice under the back cover. Assumed we would need to replace it. This sensor and the secondary heater kit completely fixed the issue. Like a new fridge!

Good job Ben's for putting all of these components in one place! Install was straightforward. If you are doing this be very careful when removing the cooling panel thingy- it is fragile and I broke the Styrofoam when removing. I used the heat tape they provided to fix!!!

Samsung should reimburse for prior and current repair. Samsung engineer's know how to design their products to fail.

You can tell this guy has done this repair himself before and knows exactly what you need and doesn’t cut corners. It’s all there and it completely solved my problems for my rf266 series Samsung ref.

I am so grateful I found your repair video and kit on YouTube. Installation is very straightforward thanks to the video and resolved the ice buildup issue we were having and that could not be resolved after multiple repair calls. Thank you so much for at the very least delaying the purchase of a new fridge!

Repair kit was delivered promptly and as described. I will give a review of the product after installation. I am waiting until it freezes up again before installing. We know it will.

I am so thankful that you guys came up with this kit. I had tried the 1 piece fix for the drain flooding and freezing a few years back. Of course the problem came back and I'm so glad ya'll could help me replace more parts to get a better fix. I do still have a small amount of water in the main fridge compartment, but I feel it is greatly reduced. I can tolerate that. Also, I really appreciated the new drain pipe fittings. Yes mine were in terrible shape and probably part of the problem. I am a 66 year old female DIYer and I love finding the videos and parts I need for my projects. Thank you so very much for everything. You saved me the cost of a new refrigerator.

I already did a review, but I’ll do another one. We really like Ben’s YouTube videos they’re very thorough but our fridge is just a bad model and we went on a trip came home and the fridge was warm again for the third time so we’re buying a new one. We learned a lot from him though.

Put in the new sensor an thermostat an secondary heater an everything seems to be working well.

I haven't used everything yet, but the replacement tubes for the back of the refrigerator worked perfectly.

It was relatively easy to install. Although my Samsung refrigerator is now banished to the garage, at least I didn’t throw it away and it’s operating fine - serving overflow duty.

It seemed to do the trick, thank you for the video on how to and the parts needed.

Well my Samsung fridge stopped keeping things cold. It was cool but felt too warm to be at right temperature. After I YouTubed it, I found out why it wasn’t working. The rods in the bad were covered with ice making the fridge think it was colder than it actually was. Luckily there was Ben’s appliance website attached to the video. Between the video and quick delivery I was able to fix my fridge in no time. Highly recommend Ben’s Appliances for repairs.

Arrived very fast

No instructions for where this item should be installed. It is still in the bag. The heater kit came with a sensor, which I used, but when ordering the heater kit this additional sensor was recommended. I don’t know where it goes. Emailing to the website got no response.

After watching some YouTube videos I decided on this kit to hopefully repair my Samsung fridge. The original problem was that it would ice up and block the fan, requiring a complete teardown and defrost every six months. So far its been installed for about a month, so time will tell. Everything looked top qualify and worked after function testing all components.

Thanks for helping us with this problem! The replacement heater is here, and I look forward to completing the repair. Great communication too.
