A Recommended Addition to the Samsung Heater Kit

One of the more pertinent items that technicians will replace when installing the drain kit and secondary heater kit is a new defrost sensor, as replacing it takes approximately 1 minute with the evaporator cover panel off.

If the existing defrost sensor is off-specification, it could reduce the defrost time of the refrigerator, causing some of the icing conditions that the Samsung refrigerator is notorious for.

Always confirm that this piece is compatible with your refrigerator prior to purchase. However, this specific sensor is compatible with almost all Samsung French-door refrigerators and side-by-side units.

Have not installed

I have not installed the defrost assemble yet. I manually defrosted my Samsung junk refrig. When it freezes up again I will install the new defrost mechanism.

Great Kit!!!

This kit and associated video were amazing. I had unload and completely defrosted my Samsung refrigerator multiple times. I was considering buying a new fridge when I found this repair video and kit. This kit was a great price, the instructions were easy to follow and best of all now my fridge works!!!

So far so good

The sensor and defroster sensor is working good. But my ice maker is still forming ice. What I needed was a little confusing so I had to figure things out. I ended up with two sensors that did the same thing. One was a newer version of the other. So I wasted money on the extra one. But I have to say it definitely helped to avoid having to but a new refrigerator right now, that option was just not something my budget could afford.

Refrigerator Fixed

Our refrigerator fan was making noise, Ben's helped me identify the fix and parts to fix it with their You Tube videos. Shipping was fast and fix was easy! Will definitely use them again!
