Great solution, I first tried a 14awg piece of copper wire, this seems to not block the drain hole as much as the wire. Also bought fridge door gaskets, perfect fit.
Used for a SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR model-RF26HFENDSR. The refrigerator had a ton of ice along the back inside wall. The freezer was so full of ice that you couldn’t even see the food in it. Water kept filling the two refrigerator crisper drawers at a rate of about an inch per week. What a mess. This went on for a year. (I had ordered this part from Ben’s but my daughter lost it. And I finally found it after all that time.) after using hot water to melt the ice in the refrigerator ( be patient and use a child’s medicine squirted to keep flushing hot water to melt the ice… it took a few hours), I was able to remove the back wall panel and the old drain clip and put this new one in. Within one day, the refrigerator got to its normal temperature and after 3 months there is NO ice build up at all. And, the freezer is back to normal!! Such a small part and an easy DIY install saved this big expensive refrigerator! Thank you, Ben’s Appliances and Junk! You defiantly don’t sell “junk”! BTW, Ben’s communications via email were prompt as to order received and shipped. I bought one for my son and daughter-in-law’s refrig too, although it is not having a problem at the moment, my son will put this clip in as a preventative! This clip is longer that what comes in the refrig and goes into the drain hole farther so that the drain hole doesn’t clog up with ice.

Thank you, Ben, for supplying a replacement part for a poorly engineered appliance. It was more convenient and faster to get it from Ben than the people that made it (Samsung). Lowes, the people that sold the unit, treated me like I was crazy, and Samsung seemed like they had better things to do.
